Check-in
Check-in is flexible in order to suit guest requirements. If you prefer, you can be picked up from the hotel before the first day of diving and taken to the base. You can test out the hire equipment, and/or go through the formalities, or while those who prefer to stay and rest at the hotel after a strenuous day of travelling can of course do so, too. In this case, we will provide all the necessary information before arrival and do the ‘check-in’ on the first day of diving on the dive boat.

Welcome Dive
On the first day of diving, each SUBEX guest will enjoy a ‘welcome dive’! A guide will lead the dive in groups of no more than four guests to ensure that everyone is comfortable in the water. Explore the underwater world while the guide makes note of the divers’ capabilities. Afterwards, you will make a joint decision as to whether your subsequent dives require the presence of a guide. The guide will not charge for the Welcome Dive.
Check-out payment
After the last day of diving, it’s time to check-out of the SUBEX base. You’ll be able to wash your diving gear and buy souvenirs at the shop. Holiday experiences, photos and contact details are then usually swapped – preferably over a cold drink! Payment is effected after you have reviewed the fee. All services can be paid for at check-out either in cash (Euros, Swiss Francs, US dollars or Egyptian pounds) or by credit card (VISA, American Express or Mastercard).
